FAQ

Questions about playground installation

Are you certified to install playgrounds?
Yes. Maxx Contracting is a Canadian Certified Playground Inspector (CCPI) through the Canadian Playground and Recreation Association (CPRA). That means we install to the CSA playground safety standards and can inspect and certify the finished site, which matters for schools, municipalities, stratas, and daycares that carry liability for public play spaces.
What's involved in a playground installation?
We handle the whole job: site preparation and grading, layout to the equipment plan, equipment installation, and safety surfacing, then a final inspection. Because we are a site-work contractor, the excavation, drainage, and base work a safe playground needs are done in-house.
What safety surfacing options do you install?
We install the common fall-protection surfaces, including poured rubber, rubber tiles, and engineered wood fibre, sized to the equipment fall height to meet CSA requirements. We recommend the right surface for your budget, use level, and maintenance preference.
Who do you install playgrounds for, and where?
We install for schools, municipalities and parks, stratas and HOAs, and daycares across Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia. If you are planning a new or replacement play space, get in touch to discuss the site.
